Bhubaneswar, Dec. 23 -- Odisha Vigilance on Tuesday arrested Rabindra Kumar Barik, a Junior Accountant in the office of the District Manager, Odisha State Civil Supplies Corporation (OSCSC) Ltd., Sundargarh, in connection with a disproportionate assets (DA) case. He will be produced before the Court of the Special Judge, Vigilance, Balasore.

According to Vigilance officials, Barik was found to own assets disproportionate to his known sources of income following searches conducted at multiple locations linked to him.

The assets allegedly include a multi-storeyed residential building, a triple-storeyed market complex with a gym, and a Kalyan Mandap in Balasore town, besides another building in Baripada town.
