Abduction of the divyang woman's child from near Ram Mandi in Bhubaneswar and his subsequent rescue from Balasore, has raised serious concerns over a possible organ trafficking attempt.
Initial reports suggest the child was abducted by a woman who later handed over the baby to another woman whose son is reportedly suffering from kidney-related ailments.
Meanwhile, police have detained the woman for questioning. It is suspected that she stole the baby and handed him over to another relative.
