India, March 6 -- A group of civil service aspirants visited the Chief Minister's grievance cell on Monday and submitted a letter alleging that the vacant posts recently advertised by the Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) are in violation of the government's mandated provision for the general category seats.

According to a Times of India report, the aspirants claimed that the OPSC, in its OCS advertisement, has fallen short of providing 50% of seats to the unreserved category. As per the reports, it has only allotted 35% of seats to the unreserved category out of the advertised 200 posts.
