The Odisha Police arrested 129 people, wanted in different criminal cases, over the last nine days during a special drive, a senior officer said on Saturday.
'Operation Garuda' was launched on August 1 for curbing crime, smuggling, and anti-social activities, ADG (Law and Order) Sanjay Kumar said, addressing a press conference. He said it will continue till August 14, and so far, 3,159 non-bailable warrants have been executed as a part of it.
Till Saturday, 51 firearms, 95 rounds of ammunition and Rs 1.45 lakh in cash were seized, Kumar said.
