The Odisha State Cooperative Milk Producers' Federation Limited, OMFED, has officially revised its milk prices, with the new rates coming into effect from today.

The revised prices show an increase of Rs 2 per litre for premium and toned milk and Rs 4 per litre for gold milk.

According to OMFED's official notification, the federation had initially proposed a Rs 4 increase per litre across all milk variants. However, the state government has decided to subsidise Rs 2 of the hike, leaving the remaining Rs 2 to be borne by consumers.
