India, Feb. 11 -- Vigilance sleuths on Tuesday carried out simultaneous raids at seven places associated with Bidyadhar Pati, tehsildar of Remuna in Balasore district, on charges of possessing assets disproportionate to his known source of income.
According to sources, the officials of the anti-corruption agency are carrying out the raids at seven places including in Bhubaneswar and Balasore.
The simultaneous house searches are being conducted by Odisha Vigilance, led by six DSPs, three inspectors, 10 ASIs, and other supporting staff, on the strength of Search Warrants issued by the Special Judge, Vigilance, Bhubaneswar.
