Odisha Vigilance, on Monday, carried out simultaneous searches at multiple locations linked to Surendra Behera, Superintending Engineer (SE) of the Irrigation Division, Angul, over allegations of possessing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.
Acting on warrants issued by the Special Judge, Vigilance, Sundargarh, the anti-corruption agency launched simultaneous searches at eight different locations across Bhubaneswar, Rourkela, Sundargarh, Angul, and Ganjam.
