Bhubaneswar, June 16 -- Several districts of Odisha are set to receive heavy rainfall and thundershowers in the next few days. As per the regional centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD), the rainfall forecast is due to a low pressure area formed over east Uttar Pradesh and adjoining Bihar along with persisting associated cyclonic circulation extending up to mid-tropospheric levels.

A yellow warning has been issued till morning of June 17th. As per prediction, heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Keonjhar, and Mayurbhanj till tomorrow morning.
