Bhubaneswar, Jan. 1 -- On the first day of 2026, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi issued a 15-point directive aimed at energising the state administration and accelerating decision-making across departments.
Sources reported that the directives were formally communicated to the newly inducted Chief Secretary Anu Garg, with the Chief Minister instructing the administrative machinery to work on priority to achieve clearly defined targets.
According to the directives, the government has set a target of building a 'prosperous Odisha' by 2036, while positioning the state among the country's top five developed states through a mixed-economy approach.
