Bhubaneswar, Dec. 6 -- Odisha Industries Minister Samapad Swain on Friday placed a detailed written reply in the state assembly outlining the state's industrial commitments, MoUs, major steel plant progress, investment targets and ongoing land acquisition processes.
The reply came in response to questions raised separately by MLAs Tara Prasad Bahinipati, Badri Narayan Patra and Dhruva Sahu.
Responding to Congress MLA Tara Prasad Bahinipati, the Minister stated that the government had signed 191 Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) with industrial establishments in the last one-and-a-half years.
