Bhubaneswar, March 19 -- Bhubaneswar: Odisha government has announced a number of preventive measures to tackle the coronavirus pandemic. Most of the official buildings have already been designated as quarantine facilities to prevent the deadly COVID-19 from spreading its tentacles. On Thursday, the government ordered to set up quarantine centres across all panchayats in the State.

In order to implement this, the government has approved a grant of Rs 5 lakh to each panchayat and if reports are anything to go by, the isolation centres would be ready very soon.

Mendhasala Government High School on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar is another such designated centre which will offer quarantine facilities from tomorrow (March 20).
