Odisha's celebrated bodybuilder Santosh Kumar Barjena, who earned fame at several national and international championships, tragically lost his life in a road accident on Tuesday midnight near Daya Bridge, on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar. The mishap occurred when his motorbike collided with a bull lying on the road.
According to eyewitnesses, Santosh was returning home to Nuagaon around 12 AM when his two-wheeler hit a bull resting on the bridge. The force of the collision threw him off his bike, causing severe head injuries. Sadly, he died on the spot before help could arrive.
