Bhubaneswar, Nov. 7 -- The Crime Branch has decided to conduct a polygraph (lie detector) test on Shankar Prusty, the mastermind in the Odisha Police SI recruitment scam, after he allegedly failed to cooperate during the investigation.
According to officials, Prusty has been uncooperative with investigators, providing unsatisfactory answers to multiple questions. Even when presented with evidence, he reportedly misled officers and attempted to confuse the probe.
Shankar is currently in judicial remand, with his remand period set to expire on Saturday.
In a related development, Suresh Nayak, owner of Silicon Tech, will also undergo a lie detection test as part of the ongoing investigation.
