Bhubaneswar, Dec. 18 -- Odisha Vigilance on Thursday arrested Sukma Hansdah, Inspector-in-Charge (IIC) of Dasmantpur Police Station in Koraput district, while she was allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 20,000 in exchange for submitting a case diary before a court.

According to official Vigilance sources, Hansdah was the investigating officer in a case earlier registered at Dasmantpur police station. The accused in that case had been lodged in judicial custody, and the court had directed the investigating officer to place the case diary before it.
