Bhubaneswar, Feb. 28 -- After facing criticisms for severe lapses in conduct of the matriculation examination, Odisha government has now put all its focus on the smooth conduct of the +2 examination starting from March 7. As a precautionary measure to check incidents of question paper going viral on social media, the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha today banned a number of items in exam centres including wrist watches.

Such decisions were taken during a high-level meeting held under the chairmanship of Odisha Chief Secretary, AP Padhi at the Secretariat today.
