Bhubaneswar, June 24 -- Odisha Lokayukta chairperson Justice Ajit Singh on Monday urged the people of the state to make Odisha a corruption-free state by filing complaints against corrupt government officials directly.

Addressing a press meet, Justice Singh said, the people of the state should not become victims of corruption and should file complaints against government officials involved in graft. The Lokayukta further informed that as many as 592 cases were received from the previous Lokpal, out of which 62 were rejected, while 476 cases involving personal grievances have been sent to the government. As many as 28 cases are sub-judice.
