India, Feb. 3 -- The State government implemented the Odisha Apartment (Ownership and Management) Act, 2023, to facilitate the sale and purchase of apartments constructed before the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) came into being, a notification issued on Monday by the Revenue & Disaster Management department in this regard mentioned.

The notification directed Registering Officers of the State to register apartments which had been completed before the implementation of RERA, in compliance with the Odisha Housing & Urban Development (H&UD) department notification dated February 1, 2025.
