Bhubaneswar, Dec. 28 -- Elaborate security arrangements will be put in place in Bhubaneswar during the upcoming FIH Odisha Men's Hockey World Cup 2023, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Prateek Singh said on Wednesday.

Singh reviewed the security arrangements in the Capital City ahead of the mega event to be played at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar and the newly-constructed Birsa Munda International Hockey Stadium in Rourkela from January 13-29.

As per reports, a meeting was held between Commissionerate Police, CISF and Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) authorities to discuss how the players will reach the hotel and stadium with ease.
