Odisha high school teacher recruitment: Over 72000 applicants for 7540 vacancies, prelims in March
Bhubaneswar, Jan. 19 -- A whopping 72585 teaching aspirants have applied for the posts of regular teachers in the Government Secondary Schools, which is nearly 10 times more than the advertised vacancies.
The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) had announced 7540 posts of regular teachers to be filled up under Odisha School and Mass Education Department.
As per the OSSC, as many as 72585 candidates have successfully submitted applications for the posts while the applications of 5484 candidates have been rejected.
"The detail rejection list along with grounds of rejection has been uploaded on the website of the Commission www.ossc.gov.in for information of candidates," the OSSC said in a notice.
