The Odisha government will provide houses in Bhubaneswar at affordable rates starting from Rs 14 lakh, Housing and Urban Development (H&UD) Minister Krushna Chandra Mahapatra announced on Sunday during the Local Self-Governance Day celebrations.
Mahapatra said the initiative aims to make home ownership possible for families struggling with high property costs in the state capital, where prices often exceed Rs 1 crore.
