Bhubaneswar, June 8 -- The Odisha government will appoint over 11,000 teachers in secondary schools across the State by the end of this month, informed School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash.

The Directorate of Secondary Education (DSE) is entrusted with the recruitment process for selection of as many as 11,403 initial appointee teachers.

Dash said the teachers would be given their offer letters in a programme in the presence of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.

He further informed that over 1,700 teachers will be recruited in Odisha Adarsha Vidyalayas (OAVs).

The recruitment process is being undertaken to fill up altogether 1749 Principal and other teaching and non-teaching posts.
