Amid fears of a major flood in the Jalaka and Subarnarekha rivers in North Balasore, the Odisha Government has initiated extensive preparedness measures.
The Fire Services Department has deployed as many as 26 teams, fully equipped with all necessary machinery, to carry out rescue operations and assist people affected by the rising water levels.
