Bhubaneswar, Dec. 9 -- The Odisha government has created as many as 11,292 posts of Nursing Officers in the Health and Family Welfare department, an official statement said on Friday.

As per the government, the new posts have been created in order to augment the technical manpower and improve the healthcare services in place. The newly-created posts will be filled by the government in a phased-manner.

"To augment the technical manpower and provide better healthcare services, State Government has created 11,292 posts of Nursing Officers in Odisha. Decision was taken to fill up the newly created posts in phases," the Information and Public Relations (I&PR) Department tweeted.
