Bhubaneswar, Jan. 16 -- The OdishaGovernment initiated the process for compulsory retirement of lecturers working under the Higher Education Department, with strict directions issued on Friday to identify the faculty members whose performance and conduct are found to be unsatisfactory.

As part of the move, the Higher Education Department laid down clear guidelines for reviewing the performance and behaviour of lecturers across Higher Educational Institutions in the state. The exercise aims to improve teaching standards and ensure better academic outcomes for students.
