Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi announced Rs 10 increase in the minimum daily wages for workers on Tuesday in a bid to support the workforce. This move, aimed at enhancing the welfare of labourers in Odisha, underscores CM Majhi's continued commitment to their needs, the Chief Minister's Office (CMO) said.

With this revision, the minimum daily wage for unskilled workers will rise from Rs 452 to Rs 462. For semi-skilled workers, the wage will increase from the existing Rs 502 to Rs 512.
