Bhubaneswar, Dec. 31 -- The Odisha government on Wednesday extended the deadline for Pollution Under Control Certificate (PUCC) till March. The decision was announced by Transport Minister Bibhuti Jena.

According to the minister, the extension has been granted keeping in view public convenience and to ensure that vehicle owners get sufficient time to comply with pollution control norms.

The minister said the move aims to avoid inconvenience to motorists and streamline the implementation of pollution control measures across the state.
