Odisha government introduced on Tuesday the ODA (Planning & Building Standard) Second Amendment Rules, allowing part sale of plots and without approval for patches of land up to 500 square meters in size, bringing relief to landowners and developers.
As per the new rules, landowners can now sell plots of up to 500 square meters without requiring approval. However, the sold plots cannot be used for real estate purposes. This relaxation also applies to land with multiple co-owners, where plots of 500 square meters can be sold. The move aims to boost land transactions and development in the State.
