Bhubaneswar, Feb. 9 -- Senior OdishaCongress leader Sura Routray has indicated that he may contest elections again, signalling a possible return to active electoral politics from the Jatani constituency in Khordha district.

The senior leader made the remarks on Monday, stating that he would consider contesting on a Congress ticket if there is public demand for his candidature.

Routray claimed that the Congress lost the Jatani seat in the last election because he did not contest. He asserted that the party would regain the constituency if he returns to the fray, expressing confidence in Congress' organisational strength and electoral prospects in the area.
