Bhubaneswar, Nov. 19 -- Odisha is witnessing a slight respite from the recent cold wave, with night temperatures showing a gradual increase after days of severe chill.

As per the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the intensity of the cold, which had gripped the state in recent days, has weakened since Tuesday and may reduce further from Wednesday.

The weather office has predicted a gradual rise in temperatures over the next three days, with an expected increase of 2-3 degree Celsius across the state. However, residents in interior, northern, and southern districts are likely to continue feeling the cold in the mornings and nights.
