India, March 30 -- In a significant move towards ensuring housing for the underprivileged, the Odisha government on Sunday formally launched the Antyodaya Housing Scheme at a special function held at Kalahandi district. The scheme aims to provide permanent houses to economically weaker sections of society. This initiative is set to fulfill the long-standing dream of countless families who aspire to have a secure and stable home.

The Antyodaya Gruha Yojana, the flagship housing scheme for low-income households not yet selected under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY).
