Bhubaneswar, Jan. 1 -- Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi outlined 15 priority tasks on Thursday for the State's new Chief Secretary, Anu Garg, aimed at making the administration more active, accountable, and citizen-focused.

Among the directives is achieving the 'Odisha Vision 2036-2047' goals within the next two years, with a focus on building a prosperous Odisha (Bikashita Odisha) with a 500 billion-dollar economy, ranking among the top five developed states by 2036.

Officials have been instructed to fill all government positions within two years, identify and take action against corrupt, inefficient, or irresponsible officers, and ensure all official notices and communications are issued only in the Odia language.
