Bhubaneswar, April 16 -- After a brief lull due to Nor'westers triggered rainfalls, heatwave conditions have returned to Odisha again with the mercury level continuously soaring over the last few days.

People of the State are currently suffering a lot due to the sizzling heatwave condition with Balasore recording the highest temperature of 34.4 degree Celsius till 8.30 am on Tuesday.

Maximum temperature at most parts of the State already crossed 30 degree Celsius by early morning. The State Capital experienced 32.6 degree Celsius till 8.30 am. While Chandbali witnessed maximum temperature of 34.4 degree Celsius, Puri witnessed 32. 4 degree Celsius. Similarly, Keonjhar and Jharsuguda recorded maximum temperature of 31.2 and 31.4 degree C...
