Bhubaneswar, Nov. 26 -- The Commissionerate Police on Tuesday issued a public notice announcing a series of traffic restrictions in the Capital City during the 5th Session of the 17th Odisha Legislative Assembly, scheduled from November 27 to December 31, 2025.

The diversions have been enforced under Section 28 of the Odisha Urban Police Act, 2003, and Regulation 36 of the Bhubaneswar-Cuttack Police Commissionerate (Traffic and Public Order) Regulation, 2008, in view of heightened security around the Assembly.

According to the notice, vehicles will not be allowed to move freely on several key stretches leading to the Assembly premises. Instead, they will be diverted to alternate routes to ensure smooth movement and maintain security.
