Bhubaneswar, Feb. 20 -- The Odisha government informed the State Assembly that electrification has been completed in all revenue villages across the state. However, a fresh field survey is currently in progress to identify households that are still without electricity connections.

Responding to queries raised by legislators, Deputy Chief Minister and Energy Minister KV Singh Deo stated that the milestone of village-level electrification has been achieved, but certain individual homes remain outside the power network. He said distribution companies have been directed to conduct a comprehensive assessment to determine the exact number of such households.
