CUTTACK, Dec. 20 -- As many as 90 school students fell sick reportedly after returning from a picnic in Khuntuni area of Athagarh in Cuttack on Thursday. Around 20 of them and a teacher of Saraswati Sishu Vidya Mandir(SSVM) were admitted to Madhapur and Athagarh hospitals.
As per reports, 145 students of SSVM had gone for a picnic where they consumed contaminated food following which health condition of some students deteriorated, informed a doctor.
Sources said there were around 70 other students of Khuntuni area who also fell sick and were admitted to Khuntuni Health Centre.
