Bhubaneswar, Dec. 12 -- The death of popular Odia Jatra comedy artiste Guru Prusty continues to remain under scrutiny after police recovered one of his missing mobile phones, a development that could provide fresh leads in the ongoing investigation.

According to reports, Guru Prusty met with an accident at around 8:15 pm on December 7 while travelling from Bhadrak to Dhusuri to perform with Indrabhaban Jatra at Sandhapur. The accident occurred near Chingudipur on State Highway-16. He was later declared dead at Bhadrak Medical College and Hospital.

Police said only one of his two mobile phones was initially recovered from the accident site.
