Bhubaneswar, Nov. 29 -- Chhatrapur police have registered a case against nine individuals in Munisipentha village of Ganjam district following allegations that the family of Aska Additional Tehsildar OAS Saudagar Behera faced public humiliation and social exclusion due to his marriage outside the Kaibarta community.

The complaint, lodged by the officer's father on Friday, Bijay Behera, stated that family members were asked to leave a community wedding feast and were insulted in front of attendees.
