Bhubaneswar, May 20 -- At a time when the entire Odisha is reeling under intense heat wave conditions, the officials of the regional metrological centre predicted that similar situation will persist for the next three days. A yellow warning has been issued in view of the severe heat wave condition for eight districts in the State.

While mercury in Western and interior districts of the State has been hovering between 40 and 45 degrees Celsius for the past few days, increase in humidity level and scorching heat is making life worse for the people especially in the coastal parts.
