NMA team finds no violation in redevelopment of 4 mutts in Puri

Bhubaneswar, Nov. 30 -- A special team of the National Monuments Authority (NMA) on Thursday inspected the renovation of four mutts (matha) located around 100 metres of Meghanada wall of Srimandir in Puri.
Culture Department Director Dilip Routray, Puri Sub-Collector, Chief of Puri circle ASI, Chief of State Archaeological Department were part of the special NMA representative team.
The team inspected the renovation works of Badachhata mutt, Chhauni mutt, Uttaraparswa mutt and Kakudikhai mutt.
Culture Department Director Dilip Routray said that other than the beautification of the mutts, no other construction work will be made in the prohibited area.
