Bhubaneswar, Feb. 16 -- The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has intensified its probe into the explosion that rocked Sundarpada in Odisha's Bhubaneswar last month, closely examining CCTV footage as part of its ongoing investigation.
The blast occurred at Azad Nagar under Airfield police limits on January 27, 2026, leaving four persons grievously injured. Among them was alleged history-sheeter Sehanbaz Mallik, who later died while undergoing treatment. His mother also succumbed to her injuries before her statement could be recorded. Two other injured persons remain under medical care, and their statements have not yet been formally recorded.
