Bhubaneswar, Dec. 16 -- The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has launched a groundbreaking initiative for wildlife conservation by constructing India's first Table-Top Red Marking on a highway stretch passing through the Veerangana Durgavati Tiger Reserve in Madhya Pradesh.
This innovative design, inspired by Dubai's model, utilises hot-applied thermoplastic red colour across the road. This 'Red Road' serves as a crucial visual warning, immediately signalling to drivers that they are entering a sensitive wildlife corridor.
