A tragic incident occurred during a recruitment practice drill for the OSAP 2nd Battalion at the reserve ground in Jharsuguda district, where an aspiring candidate collapsed and later died during physical training on Sunday.
The deceased youth was identified as Gobinda Kumal, a resident of Nepal. Gobinda had come to Jharsuguda town to participate in the physical fitness test as part of the police recruitment process.
The incident took place during a practice session at the OSAP Reserve Ground.
