A long-standing neighbourhood dispute in the Bidanasi Nuasahi area of Cuttack City turned violent on Sunday morning after a man allegedly attacked his neighbour and the neighbour's wife with a knife, leaving both critically injured. The injured have been identified as Sukadev Dalei and his wife, Sujata Bhatt.
According to reports, Sukadev hails from Badamba area but resided in Bidanasi Nuasahi. He had reportedly engaged in heated exchanges with his neighbour for quite some time before the matter escalated on Sunday.
