Bhubaneswar, Oct. 14 -- Mutilated body of a man was found under the Jamurda overbridge in Bargarh district of Odisha on Tuesday morning. The deceased has been identified as Bhima Bishal, a resident of Jamurda village.

According to initial observations, there were deep injury marks on several parts of Bishal's body. It is suspected that he was beaten to death by some assailants.

The discovery of the dead body under the overbridge has raised questions about the cause and circumstances of his death. Police personnel reached the spot soon after receiving information and have launched an investigation into the case.
