Bhubaneswar, Dec. 20 -- The Odisha government has approved the construction of a multipurpose market complex in Koraput city, announced Krushna Chandra Mahapatra, Minister of Housing and Urban Development, on Saturday.
During a recent visit to the city, the Minister inspected several old market areas, including Chandan Pokhari and Podala Line, and highlighted the need for a modern market facility to cater to both traders and residents.
Minister Mahapatra directed the District Collector to prepare a Detailed Project Report (DPR) immediately to expedite the project planning and implementation.
