India, Jan. 27 -- In a bid to bolster the agricultural infrastructure in the district, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National Vice-President and Kendrapara MP, Baijayant Panda put forward a proposal for the creation of three new cold storage facilities.

Panda addressed his proposal to Odisha Deputy Chief Minister and Agriculture Minister K V Singh Deo in a written communique.

This proposal follows the Odisha Cabinet's approval, on December 21, for the construction of 58 cold storage units across the State. The parliamentarian urged for the allocation of at least three of these facilities to the Kendrapara Lok Sabha constituency in the initial phase.
