A north-south trough now runs from cyclonic circulation over northern parts of Gangetic West Bengal to north coastal Andhra Pradesh across coastal Odisha. Similarly, an upper air cyclonic circulation lies over north coastal Odisha, informed the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Sunday.
As per IMD, several parts of Odisha will continue to experience thunderstorm with lightning and heavy rainfall in some parts of the state for the next few days. Orange and yellow warnings have been issued in this regard as well for several districts of the state.
