The Government of India has announced that civil defence mock drills will be conducted on Thursday, May 29, across four states bordering Pakistan. This initiative is part of ongoing efforts to bolster emergency preparedness following the recent Operation Sindoor and the subsequent ceasefire agreement.
The drills are scheduled to take place in the border states of Gujarat, Punjab, Rajasthan, and Jammu & Kashmir. These drills aim to enhance civilian readiness and ensure coordinated responses in the event of potential emergencies.
