MLA Pradeep Panigrahi Files Contempt Petition Against Odisha Lokayukta In HC
Bhubaneswar, Aug. 11 -- BJD MLA Pradeep Panigrahi, who had been expelled from the party, has filed a contempt of court petition against the Odisha Lokayuta in the Orissa High Court alleging forgery by the former of a HC order.
According to sources, the Gopalpur MLA filed the petition against Lokayukta chairperson justice Ajit Singh and secretary Manas Ranjan Tripathi in the High Court on Wednesday.
Panigrahi has alleged that the Lokayukta had moved the Supreme Court wherein it submitted a 'forged' order copy of the Orissa High Court.
