Keonjhar, April 26 -- Armed miscreants looted Rs 15,000 and a mobile phone from a businessman after firing at him at Keonjhar on Thursday night. The victim Dilip Behera escaped with minor bullet injuries on hand and stomach.
According to reports, four bike-borne miscreants intercepted Behera near railway over bridge when he was returning home after closing his shop. The miscreants opened fire at Behera when he refused to hand over money to them.
"The miscreants had come in two motorcycles. The looted the cash after firing at me, "said Behera.
On getting information Sadar Police reached the spot, rescued Behera and rushed him to hospital.
